Shoes of all kinds parade through the streets, in the shop windows, in the shoe store. But the protagonist remains the boy with the "hatch", who struggles to tie his shoelaces and untie the knots of his heart...
Until we learn what worry, joy, sadness, embarrassment, love, fear, nostalgia, anger and many more mean, there are times when we feel a knot in our stomach and other times our heart is tied in a bow. Then nothing is - or doesn't seem - easy. Then we can't find a way to calm down. Then we constantly look down. Then we forget to see the clouds, the birds, the sun and the tiles of the old houses. And time passes. Until, one day, without realizing it, worry, joy, sadness, embarrassment, love, fear, nostalgia, anger and many more, take on color, form and sound. Then everything becomes easy. Then all the winds die down. Then we raise our eyes to the sky. Then we see all the clouds, the birds, the sun and the tiles of the old houses. And an invisible hand unties the knots and bows that have nested within us.
