My childhood, even though so much time has passed, I remember it as if it were yesterday. Mostly my friends and my good teachers. I also remember the city where I grew up, the houses that have been demolished, the pastry shops that have closed – even though other, better ones have opened.
I like to walk it and count the changes. Like watching a beautiful bird change its wings, like a dry winter tree that puts out new leaves in the spring. When I say I'm lucky, it's because the most important change, as time goes by, is that I make many more friends and take them to my heart. And they also become friends, friends, heart-felt friends.
