Their works in all fields of art from a community of artists and designers founded in Vienna in 1897. Over 180 female artists. Felice Rix apprenticed in the movement under Josef Hoffmann. The workshop's aim was to renew the applied arts and beautify life using everyday objects designed by artists. Felice, after relocating to Kyoto with her Japanese husband and architect Isaburo Ueno, was a major influence on the modern Japanese art scene.
