The Squirrel is excited.
Spring came, and a beautiful flower bloomed near his tree. So he decided it was his.
After what happened to the leaves in the fall (THEY ALL DISAPPEARED), Squirrel is more careful. He HAS to keep his flower safe, and for that he needs the help of his best friend, Bird.

In the second story of the Squirrel, after The Leaf Thief, the hero has to deal with issues such as possessiveness and overprotection, in his attempt to preserve the flower that grew outside his house. At the same time, after the end of the story there is information about the role of flowers and bees in nature, based on the Squirrel's spring story.
