The polygraph or The summer of heroes-Maria Skamaga

Pantelis spends his summer on an Aegean island, in a small village without children, in a time without stimuli other than those offered by nature, a radio perhaps, and his thousands of read comics. This summer of his ten years will be a summer of discoveries for him. During it, loved ones will be illuminated by a new light and the horizon of his life will open to accommodate many new and wonderful things: a friend, a grandfather, the past of his family and with it this and that of his place.

Polygraph is a story about that defining moment of our growing up, when we look back and realize that there is an intangible world out there to which we are connected: the stories that unfolded before our own and, of course, History. At the same time, it is a narrative about the processes that bind us to the world around us, about the subsoil of love and nostalgia.
