A Christmas Story - Charles Dickens

Ebenezer Scrooge is a twisted old man, heartless and ruthless to everyone, he loves money and, worst of all, he despises Christmas! He thinks it's nonsense and his favorite phrase when referring to it is " Well, I'm tired! ". No one talks to him on the street, but he doesn't care. Nothing touches him! So is it possible for such a person to change and become a philanthropist, loving and cheerful, the biggest fan of the holiday in London? Do miracles happen?

On Christmas Eve, Scrooge receives some very special visitors, who bring him important life lessons as gifts. The ghost of his old partner and the three Christmas spirits will show him the way of love and thus he will spend his first real Christmas! See? It's never too late for miracles!

Charles Dickens (1812-1870) was an English journalist and writer, one of the greatest in the world. He was a fierce critic of both the class divisions of 19th-century English society and the immense poverty that the Industrial Revolution brought to large parts of the population. Dickens is the writer of the poor, the helpless, and the naked. The 1843 novella, A Christmas story is a didactic story that can be the subject of analysis and skepticism, but also pleasant and beloved, to which we return again and again and each time we are enveloped by the white snow, the London gray, the red and green of the decorations and, above all, the warmth of the fire crackling in the fireplace. The Christmas story continues to inspire adaptations in every artistic genre.
